I smiled when I read the New York Times article below.
I have so many pieces that I just may be able to open my own A-Z expo here in Paris.
Starting with one of my favorite designers is this great pale pink bow motif dress by Alaia.
The Great Designers a 2 Part Survey from the Permanent Collection Expo opens today at FIT in New York. This expo will take viewers through the collection from Alaia to Zoran.
Today was one of those days when the stars were aligned, the witches were casting their spells and Alexander was looking down from the heavens and smiling.
It is a very special day not only in the auction world...
This post is dedicated to my dear friend Suzanne (aka PunkglamQueen) who happens to be the biggest Alexander McQueen fan that I know.
Today is her birthday and for other reasons reasons know that this collection is also very special for her.
Happy Birthday Suzanne!
and a big congratulations to Kerry for such an exciting auction.

I've worked on Wall Street as a stock broker, at the Harvard Business School in MBA Admissions and at The French Culinary Institute as a Director of Admissions.
Kerry Taylor's new offerings had me dreaming of some other glamourous jobs in addition to clothing dealer that I might want to add to my resume one day.
A spy decked out in an Alaia trench coat, a photographer for Visionaire Magazine or the owner of an art gallery that sells Mondrian paintings are just a few of my dream jobs.
If you could change careers what would your next dream job be?
